Formed in 1994, Smash Mouth didn’t get a hit until 1997’s “Walkin’ on the Sun.” But after that Number One hit, they’ve managed to work their way into “the in crowd.” Their style of music makes every day feel like a warm summer day, even when it’s dark and gloomy out. "Our singer likes hip-hop and country and 60s Elvis,” says guitarist Greg Camp of the band’s eclectic style. “Our bass player likes punk rock and really pops out Beatlesy type of things. Our drummer's an ex-speed metal freak-turned-Ramones-Dead Kennedys fan who's now into Sublime. And I like anything that sounds good to me. Our music is a California goulash. It's hip-hop, it's Latin, it's reggae, it's ska, it's punk rock, it's pop, it's surf, it's everything."

This fusion of musical influences has yielded three albums for Smash Mouth, including Fush Yu Mang, Astro Lounge, and East Bay Sessions. Songs like “All Star,” “Then the Morning Comes,” and “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby” have all received major radio play and been featured in several major motion pictures.

You’ll want to get up and dance to every song when you see Smash Mouth live in concert.

Smash Mouth is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling American rock band whose unmistakable sound and feel-good energy helped define a generation of pop culture. Bursting onto the global stage in the late 1990s, the band quickly became a household name with chart-topping hits like “Walking on the Sun,” “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby”, “All Star,” “Then the Morning Comes,” and their iconic re-imagining of “I’m a Believer.” Their music dominated radio, MTV, and major film soundtracks, most notably becoming forever woven into pop history through the Shrek franchise.

With millions of records sold worldwide, Smash Mouth has earned multiple platinum certifications, Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 singles, and enduring global recognition for songs that continue to stream, sync, and resonate across generations. Their smash hit “All Star” remains one of the most culturally pervasive songs of all time, while Astro Lounge stands as a landmark multi-platinum album of the era. Their work has been celebrated through major award nominations, including a Grammy nomination, and sustained relevance in film, television, sports, and advertising for over two decades.

Looking ahead, the members of Smash Mouth (Zach Goode, Paul DeLisle, Michael Klooster, Randy Cooke, and Sean Hurwitz) are entering an exciting new chapter with the announcement of their forthcoming 2026 album, Mercury Comet, a release that promises to honor their legacy while pushing their sound forward. In addition, the band will be unveiling something truly special to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their hit single “I’m a Believer,” marking a milestone for one of the most beloved songs of the modern era. Smash Mouth will be on the road all year in support of their worldwide tour, the “Go For The Moon Tour 2026.”

With timeless hits, undeniable cultural impact, continuous touring, and new music on the horizon, Smash Mouth continues to prove that their spark, spirit, and star power are as strong as ever.
